I was hooked up with Last.fm before when it was still a free mp3 music streaming site since I needed some get-up music to give a little nudge on that late night graveyard web designing schedule. But then they started to charge monthly fees and that is totally a killer to my free music lifestyle.

Then came GrooveShark.com, and I think its absolutely the best music streaming site ever! Why?

First, its got a Flash-based interface so you got some nice but user-friendly controls, and the site design is really cool too (I like the orange-black combination). You can play the most popular songs on one click, or search for a song or an artist and build your playlist from scratch. Also, you can even upload you own mp3s to complete your playlist. And best of all: its totally FREE (as in free music streaming! But at least for now, it is).

This was the title of the song that Jose Mari Chan sung yesterday for Cory Aquino’s last mass. The lyrics of “I Fell Inlove With the Same Woman Three Times”, as described by the news anchors, are actually from a poem of the late senator Ninoy Aquino to none other than his lovely wife, President Cory. It was then arranged by Jose Mari Chan. Here are the lyrics for the song (thanks to my wife for googling it):

We watched Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen over the weekend at MOA and we were quite disappointed because we didn’t make it to the IMAX screening. All seats were reserved already until last Monday and we don’t have the luxury of time to go back this week so we settled for a regular screening. What can I say; some people loved it, some people didn’t. For me it was a good movie – I like the adrenaline-pumping sequences and the snippets of humor tinted in the storyline. I haven’t watched a movie this good for a while, the last thing I watched were some vampires with sparkling skin, haha!

News broke out that Michael Jackson (katukayo ko) died, well, I wasn’t really a fan. Its just now that I began to appreciate his music (and his crazy crotch-slicing dance moves). Even the Cebu Inmates gained popularity because of him. Long live his music:
